Mezcal Descartes is a premium & boutique brand focused on artisanal and high-quality Mezcals made by the traditional methods using only 100% Agave, no additives whatsoever. We have a proven trajectory in Mexico and overseas with exports to several U.S. states and with over 100 points of sale in Mexico.
Madre Cuishe is a Silvestre Agave from the Karwinskii family. It takes at least 15 years to fully mature, it has tasting notes similar to old forests, rainfall, clay pots, and cocoa.

Elaboration Method:
100% Artisanal in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca, Mexico.
- Age of Agave: 10 Years of Maturity (usually the normal method involves 6 to 7 years, we go above and beyond).
- Cooking: 5 days in pits made of volcanic rock using Oak and Mesquite as firewood.
- Crushing: 1 ton Tahona.
- Fermentation: 10 days in Oak vats using natural ambience yeast.
- Distillation: Two non-consecutive distillations in handmade copper stills.

Pallet configuration involving 9 L equivalent cases: 4 beds with 14 cases per bed for a total of 672 bottles.
Pallet configuration involving 4.5 L equivalent cases: 4 beds with 27 cases per bed for a total of 648 bottles.
